Two submarine robots that reached more depth
1. nereus

When the mission needs to descend to big depths, the robot is joined by means of a cable of optical fiber to the nose from which he manages. The approximate diameter of the above mentioned cable is that of a human hair.
2.OKPO 6000
The robot OKPO 6000 is the primeokpo 6000.jpgr Korean AUV and can manage to submerge up to 6.000 meters of depth without being connected to the mother ship.
It has been developed by Daewoo Heavy Industries. It has a length of 3,8 meters, pinches a of 0,70 meters and a prop of 0,70 meters. It was made of aluminium and it has form of torpedo. It can reach a speed of 1,54 m/s and weighs 950 kilograms.
It was designed to realize geophysical studies, field studies, rastreamiento of sunked objects and oceanographic analyses principally. It consists of means of video camera, chamber fixes and sónares of exploration.
3. remus 6000
It was designed by Hydroid and it is of type torpedo. This robot can reach 6.000 meters of depth and to move to a speed near to 4 knots. It was designed to realize environmental monitoring, oceanographic studies, to supervise pipelines, etc. It has a length of 3,84 meters, pinches a of 0,71 meters, a prop of 0,71 meters and weighs 862 kilograms.
It is clear of a package of rechargeable batteries of lithium that they contribute 11 kW an hour. It has an autonomy of 22 hours to the speed indicated previously. It is provided with sónar with lateral sweep and a chamber of high digital resolution between other facilities.
The robot has realized more than 1.000 dips. Thanks to his form of torpedo, the launch of the Recard game 6000 develops by means of a platform in which the vehicle rises and places hung of the stern to proceed to his dip.
4.dorado
The series of robots was designed by Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute (MBARI) and as the previous robots have form of torpedo. The smallest of them it takes as a purpose the monitoring and environmental evaluation and the oceanographic study.
The second one, has as function realize cartographies of the coast and mapear the sea bed. The first one of them has a few dimensions of 3,66 m x 0,54 m x 0,54 m and weighs 476 kilograms.
The second one, for your part, has a few dimensions of 5,3 m x 0,53 m x 0,53 m and weighs 680 kilograms. Both two can descend up to a depth of 6.000 meters but the first one has an autonomy of 20 hours and the second one of 17,5 hours.
